Pollinator Policy Forum

State Representative Leon Lillie (DFL – North St. Paul) is hosting a pollinator policy forum which will be moderated by Rep. Rick Hansen (DFL-South St. Paul). The event is free and open to the public.

DATE/TIME: Thursday, October 22, 6:30 P.M.- 8:00 P.M.
LOCATION: Maplewood Community Center, 2100 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood.

The forum will give a policy overview of state regulations that influence pollinators and threats to the pollinator population. The event will include speakers from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources, Minnesota Zoo, University of Minnesota, Pollinate Minnesota, Maplewood Nature Center, and local beekeepers. University of Minnesota Monarch Lab Director and Monarch Joint Venture Steering Committee co-chair Dr. Karen Oberhauser will be one of the speakers.
