Mary Hanson of The Mary Hanson Show, the longest running cable program in the USA,  talks with Karen Oberhauser, PhD, about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly, conservation, and Karen's new book, Monarchs in a Changing World

They discuss how like bees, monarchs have an impact on our lives and how they are impacted by the changes in our environment. Dr. Karen Oberhauser is a Professor of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota and the recipient of the White House's "Champion of Change" award in 2013.
